Ink bottle holders

I was tired of my ink bottles knocking over and spilling ink everywhere so I made up some beautiful bottle holders with my daughter’s air drying clay.

There are three different sizes for my different sized bottles.

Hoping it will keep its shape and hold up after it’s dried as the air dry clay tends to shrink when it’s dried.

The rose is to hold the sample bottles I used to make my own shimmer inks

The middle hibiscus is for the little sample bottles I bought from a store. The one pictured is from pulp addiction in WA they have a huge range of samples to choose from.

The blue skrip bottle on the right is actually tilted hoping this helps get more ink with my dip pen. And for refilling my ink inhalers.

I will see if spraying this with some sort of lacquer will make this water/ink stain proof.

But will have to test it out in the coming weeks as it will take at least 24 hours for the air dry clay to dry.

The modge podge matt spray I have needs a few coats with drying time between so will see how it works with this medium.
